Terms and Conditions

Dear guests,

Please read our Terms and Conditions below, before deciding to use our service in reserving a villa for you.

Seasons
Below are the common seasons for most villa owners, however, some owners now have different policy for their season. Always check with us for the seasons on a particular villa.

  • Low Season from 9th January to 14th July (excluding Easter) and 16th September to 19th December
  • High Season from 1st July to 31st July, 1st September to 15th September, Easter Week and Chinese New Year
  • Peak ~ 1st August to 31st August, 20th December to 8th January (Christmas & New Year period)

Please note that some villas are considered Full month of June and September as high season and also consider August as peak season.

Check-in & Check-out Times

  • Normal check-in time is 2.00 pm
  • Normal check-out time is 12.00 noon

Late check-out is subject to villa availability. A 50% surcharge applies for any late check-out between normal check-out time to 6.00 pm and one night full payment is required for any check-out after 6.00 pm.

Reservation Policy & Confirmation
Every villa inquiry is handled on a first come/ first payment received basis. However, as a courtesy Bali Bagus Holiday will hold each inquiry for 7 days wherever possible. Reservations must be formalized in writing and booking confirmation will be confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Changing Reservation Dates
In the event that a confirmed reservation date is changed, please be advised that some villas charge a US$ 50 to US$ 100 fee.

Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the full rental payment must be received by Bali Bagus Holiday within three  (3) working days – at the latest, after the invoice and payment instructions has been issued. If a deposit has not been received within this time, the booking will be cancelled accordingly.

Balance payment is due 30 days prior to arrival in low season, 45 days prior to arrival in high season and 60 days prior to arrival in peak season.

Full payment is required when the villa reservation is confirmed less than 30 days prior to arrival in low season, less than 45 days prior to arrival in high season and 60 days prior to arrival in peak season.

We have three alternative payments;

1. Telex Transfer (Bank Transfer)

We have to receive the total amount in a NET. All bank fee and bank correspondences charge that apply are borne by clients.

2. PayPal

Please contact us for this payment method and the administration fee apply on top is 5%.

According to the Indonesian government law, that all payments will be processed in Rupiah (IDR), then will be converted at the prevailing bank selling rate for US Dollars on the day processing. The differences in personal statements balances can occur and are due to the fluctuation with the Indonesian Rupiah and bank processing time. We cannot hold responsible for the differences.

For a last minute booking where it is not possible to arrange a Telex Transfer, we will accept cash upon arrival in unmarked USD banknotes that are issued after 2006.

Tax & Service Charges
A standard 10% Government Tax and 5% Service Charge which come to 15.5%  or 21% are levied by some villas on top of published rate.

Cancellation

If the booking is cancelled 61 days or more prior to arrival, or 91 days in the case of Christmas/New Year bookings, the Deposit will be refunded in full, less the greater of United States Dollars $500.00 and 20% of the total booking value. Please note that if multiple villas are booked, a cancellation fee is payable in relation to each individual villa.

Bookings cancelled less than 61 days prior to arrival, or less than 91 days in the case of Christmas/New Year bookings are subject to a complete forfeiture of moneys paid.

Notice of cancellation must be received in writing, to your reservation agent.

Every villa has its own cancellation policy and is subject to discussion should the situation arise.

Waiver of Liability
Clients will be required to sign a Waiver of Liability. Please be aware that a security deposit may be required by certain villas. If this is the case, a deposit will be requested by the Villa Manager upon arrival and will be refunded in full on the day of departure, unless there are damages that need to be covered or repairs to be carried out.

Events & Parties
Every villa maintains its own set of rules regarding use for an event or party. This may result in a surcharge that is equivalent to one night’s rental price. In addition, a fee to the local community (banjar) is required. Normal villa reservations are purely for vacation purposes and special permission must be obtained to host a gathering where the number of people in attendances exceeds 150% of the villa capacity.

Please be aware Bali Bagus Holiday lists a number of villas that are located within residential neighborhoods and as such not all function and or events can be accommodated. Hosting a private party may depend on the cooperation of the local community.

A wedding held in a private villa is an intimate alternative that is perfect for a small gathering of friend and loved ones. However, please be advised that may villa owners will not accept a reservation involving a function without prior confirmation that a function coordinator has been employed.

If you are planning to hold a wedding or similar event with a large gathering of people at your villa, it is advisable to advise Bali Bagus Holiday as we will be delighted to recommend the services of a reputable event coordinator.

Villa Occupancy
The number of guests occupying a villa must not exceed the maximum number stated in the reservation confirmation without prior notice. Bali Bagus Holiday reserves the right to refuse any reservation, which is considered unsuitable for the property concerned.

Liability
While every effort is taken to ensure that each villa description is accurate and the property meets required standards, Bali Bagus Holiday cannot accept responsibility for any alternations made to the property or its facilities, which are beyond our control. Nor can we accept liability for any injury, sickness, loss, damage, additional expenses or inconvenience directly or indirectly caused by or arising out of the use or condition of the property and its appearance, plumping, gas, electrical or other wise, exceptional weather conditions or owner’s negligence. Furthermore, no responsibility is accepted for the personal belonging of any member of the party during villa rental.
