Detailed description: Villa Puri Bawana is one of those luxurious villas in Canggu. Built in a very elegant style, luxury but still has the strong feel of Bali. This 6 bedrooms villa is a very perfect villa for a bigger family holiday or even for a larger reunion or a smaller function. Surrounded by the green of the rice field, Villa Puri Bawana rests upon almost two acres of land (7000m2).

The villa itself comprises of a remarkable open Living Pavilion, an elevated Dining Pavilion, an Entertainment Room, two Kitchens and five Bedrooms, complete with an additional smaller room which can be used for a children or nanny’s bedroom.  There are plenty relaxation areas, where the guest may find peace and quiet.

Entering this estate is via the spacious car parking area with an antique door that leads us to entrance pavilion and to cross the timber bridge over an ornamental pool. The traditional open sided ‘Wantilan’ Living Pavilion is completed with pendulous lanterns and ceiling fans and is overlooking the swimming pool, gardens and rice field. The open-sided Dining Pavilion with a long wood table seats comfortably up to 14 people. This pavilion is also overlooking the rice fields. The villa has 2 fully equipped kitchens – 1 kitchen is the service kitchen and the other one is the art kitchen located next to the dining pavilion with a service bar is placed in between.

Below the dining pavilion, rests a small room with up to 5 bunk beds. This room is created as an additional room for the nanny or the children. This room is completed with an ensuite batroom. Located together below the dining room is the entertainment room. A large satellite TV is mounted upon the wall, complete with surround sound, a DVD/CD player, and a Wii Game System. In one corner is a bar that can double as a DJ’s nook.

The master suite is furnished with a king-size four poster bed, a couch and a desk and chair, with a flat screen TV and the DVD as the complement. This suite has the views of both the river and the paddies. A bathroom, a dressing area and the wardrobes are of part of this master suite. The second and the third bedrooms are located in one separate building. The second bedroom is of a twin sized bed while the third bedroom presents a king sized bed. Both bedrooms are with the ensuite bathrooms.

Another 2-storey building is housed the fourth and the fifth bedrooms, both bedrooms are equipped with king sized bed. The fourth bedroom is located downstairs while the fifth bedroom is located upstairs. The fifth bedroom is the the only upstairs bedroom at the villa, affording gorgeous views of the rice fields and river valley.

The swimming pool is 30 metres in length, incorporating a kids’ pool at one end. There is an open-sided ‘bale’, relaxation pavilion, positioned within the pool and accessed by stepping stones. Additionally, a raised walkway leads to an elevated bale, a traditional lazy, breezy gazebo with a thatched roof, open sides and a cushioned floor. There is an outdoor dining table with seats for 8, that is often used for outdoor barbeques and casual daytime dining.
